So how is Tegan doing??
So to get this blog started, it's sole purpose was to keep family, particularly the Grandparent's, Aunt & Uncle, who live FAR away, to know how they next generation personality was doing!
At this point, I can tell you that she tries to say and repeat, whatever the last word you say or emphasIS.
C: Don't eat that! It's dirty.
T: Dewty.
C: Here you are.
T: Are
C: Here's your OWN shower.
T: OWN OWN OWN OWN OWN...and goes into repeat overload!
This past week, all thanks to her father, she counted to 10 all on her own! No one told her to, she just started counting and we watched, listened and screamed and patted her back and told her how smart she was! She smiled back and threw herself back on the couch in an awkward position that you would have thought she went into a seizure! It took a lot out of her to go that far I guess!
Last week she got to 4. Now 10. Daddy puts her in the swing and with each pull Up, he makes her count. Then he lets her go! TEN!
I've been trying to Potty train our little lady. Two weeks ago, she said "Tummy" then said "Potty" so we went and she delivered the goods. That was the second time. Then she got sick with a cold and we re-visited the idea today, and nothing. Oh well, just have to keep trying.
My back is starting to kill by the end of the day. She's up to 25 lbs and loves to eat. Everyone at Daycare and Church tells me that! But doncha just love those Cheeks?!!
Tomorrow's Halloween and she's going to be a Lion. Bubby sent her the costume up and we JUST got it in the mail today. She also got a Penguin costume, but it was too big, but she thought it was funny.
I think she'll be more like the cowardly lion as she plays shy in front of others when she first sees them.
Halloween has been fun so far. She gets the whole candy thing, but if something scary comes her way, she says "sorry" for the person or thing that scared her to say sorry to her! Too funny.
Anyway, I'll get back to this blog later. It's really 10:40p.m. here no matter what this blog time says. It must be on a U.S.A time. I'm bushed as us Canadians say eh?!

Saying "sorry" to the person that scares her, in order to make THEM say they're sorry for scaring her, is just hiLARious!
